Harrah’s Rincon Expansion Phase 7 was a 160-million dollar project to expand the existing and growing Harrah’s Rincon hotel resort facility. The expansion included a brand new 21-story tower with 403 new rooms.
The tower is a concrete structure with multiple columns, shear walls, and post-tension slabs. All embedments had to be coordinated around these post-tension cables to avoid any structural deficiencies. The new tower was built exactly perpendicular to the existing tower to allow for connecting wings at every floor to ensure a continuous hallway throughout both towers which allows for a seamless connection providing a new total of 1,065 rooms for the entire facility.
