The Quechan Casino & Resort consists of a new Casino Resort with a 200-room hotel tower, back of house and service areas, casino, lobby, public circulation, food and beverage outlets, function rooms, retail, business center, activity center, and outdoor main pool totaling 950,216 square feet. It is located near the snowbird community on Yuma, AZ and is intended to service several surrounding communities.
Raymond’s scope of work included the light gauge framing, drywall, sheathing, insulation, exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS), lath and plaster, and Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) and FRP systems. Raymond was also responsible for the engineering of the exterior framing and the large interior ceilings and soffits.
The Quechan Casino & Resort project was awarded the Interior Project of the Year by the Western Wall and Ceiling Contractors Association (WWCCA) in 2009.
