Wombie Rock Mountain at the Mohegan Sun Hotel and Casino features a 25,000 square foot backlit onyx mountain containing several thousand uniquely shaped panels of a composite stone and glass product that were fabricated in Italy.

The shop drawing process consisted of developing a 3D wire frame model of the structure in concert with the Rockwell Group designers over a period of several months.

At the site, Raymond set up an area where the metal framework and the stone panels were assembled using structural silicon. Since no two of the thousands of assemblies were alike, this was a challenge.

In order to ensure that it would be complete by the opening, a detailed production tracking system was developed to show exactly which pieces had been installed on any given day, how many pieces had been installed that day and a projected completion date.
