Employee Spotlight

Posted January 10, 2020

At Raymond, we have some outstanding employees, so we decided to feature them here on our blog. Our next employee spotlight features Kii Holloway, Project Engineer out of our Southern California region. Kii began her career with Raymond 24 years ago and we are very fortunate that she has stuck with us!

Three words to describe Raymond: Best company ever!

What brought you into the construction industry? I fell into construction by accident. I started working at Raymond 24 years ago as a temporary administrative assistant in our engineering department. Never in a million years did I think I would be in this industry, let alone working for a company such as Raymond. Raymond has become my home away from home, spending many hours working with the best men and women that have ever crossed my path. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this great company.

What do you like most about your job? I love seeing buildings evolve from the ground up and knowing that I played a small part in making that happen. I also love getting to meet new people constantly.

What has been your favorite project with Raymond and why? My favorite project is the Wilshire Grand Center in Downtown LA. This was my first job as a project engineer. I learned so much from the project, from dealing with clients to interacting with our field crew… and I built great relationships all the way around.

What do you like doing when you are not at work? Spending time with my family and friends. My children are my biggest inspiration. They are the reason I do what I do.
