For buildings up to 10-stories, load bearing panels are delivered complete with all rough openings, headers, and bridging. They can include an Air Barrier System, and gypsum board that is installed on the walls can be any specified exterior drywall. Cold-formed steel panels do not rot, sprawl, split, or absorb moisture, unlike other building materials.
Installation means less labor at the project site. This reduces congestion and accidents. Scaffolding can be eliminated which removes complications and risks of working at high elevations.
Raymond’s in-house Virtual Design & Construction department utilizes building information modeling to ensure prefabricated panels meet each project’s design and performance needs and to coordinate enclosures with all trades.
Panels are manufactured in Raymond’s offsite prefabrication facilities to the exact specifications of the project and undergo extensive quality control measures. Loading of panels is methodical with panels set in a strategic order, allowing the offloading and installation processes to run smoothly.
