Vetting | Safety Week 2018

Posted May 9, 2018

***Throughout Safety Week 2018 (May 7-11), Raymond will be sharing many of our safety strategies and successes.

It’s Day 3 of Safety Week and we’ve made it to the 3rd step of our Safety Strategy…

Vetting

At Raymond, we carefully review the safety risks of every project and we never move forward without a solution. It is important to put the right manpower on the job, ensuring that each employee has the skills, knowledge, training and safety orientation to properly perform a task. Vetting requires a supervisor to take a moment to recognize each employee’s different level of experience.

Every employee must be committed to safety. Employees have a responsibility to work safely and they have the right to refuse to perform any work they believe to be unsafe.
