STORY

The Gateway is a new academic building at the University of California, Berkeley that will serve as the new home of the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society (CDSS)—the first new college at Berkeley in 50 years. The approximately 367,000-square-foot facility features research labs, classrooms, seminar and conference rooms, offices, collaborative spaces, a public café, and a rooftop event area.

Raymond performed framing, drywall/sheathing, insulation, taping, acoustical plaster, scaffold, GFRG, structural engineering, and BIM.

The building was built to LEED Gold standards.
