Paul Steele named 2013-2014 NFCA President

Raymond Senior Estimator, Paul Steele, has been named President of the National Fireproofing Contractors Association (NFCA) for the 2013 to 2014 term.

Paul has served on the NFCA Board of Directors for four years as both Secretary and Vice President, and has represented Raymond as its NFCA Spray Applied Fire Resistive Materials (SFRM) Designated Responsible Individual since 2007.

Raymond has been performing SFRM for several decades, and is currently an SFRM accredited contractor in both its San Diego and Orange County regions.

About NFCA: NFCA is a trade association whose members include contractors, manufacturers, and associates who provide, install or support the application of spray applied fire resistive materials (SFRM) and intumescent coatings. These products provide hourly fire resistance ratings to structural steel members when installed in accordance with listed fire resistance designs.

The NFCA is structured with officers, a board of directors, an executive director, and committees who carry out the directions of its membership to further the proper use of passive fire protection products.
