PROJECT
STORY

New Sacramento Courthouse is a 567,000-square-foot, 18-story building, with 53 courtrooms and offices, mechanical penthouse, and 71-car basement garage.

The new tower was built to consolidate the functions of the Gordon D. Schaber Courthouse and three other satellite facilities for the county. It conforms to a full city block.

The state-of-the-art facility, built to LEED Gold standards, is clad with precast concrete panels, curtain-wall glass, and has areas decorated with a randomized vertical-panel screen.
